Trail Run Training
We organise free weekly trail hikes & runs, weather permitting all starting at the Trail Hunter Office, Unit 120, My Loft, 9 Hoi Wing Road, Tuen Mun.
Our local routes range from the Tuen Mun trail to the Maclehose 10 and various paths across Tai Lam Country Park and towards Yuen Long. Training sessions can be enjoyed by beginners and seasoned trail veterans. Check out our Facebook Events page or Strava for more details!
Start time: Sunday 8:30am
Mandatory: This is a social event but we require all participants to bring min. 1.5L water, sufficient nutrition and trail shoes with sufficient tread. Please eat a balanced meal before attending the event.
Depending on group size we will split into a hiking group and trail running group, both led by by a group leader.
Wednesday Night Run
Start time: Wednesday 7:30pm
Mandatory Gear: Please ensure you come prepared with the following mandatory items:
- 500ml flask
- Head torch
- Trail shoes
- If it's raining, sections will be slippery, ensure you've got tread
Pace: We may adjust the pace or number of groups depending on turnout. You should already be able to run a moderately hilly 10K to join.
